Music in Every Home, a popular Academy fundraiser, is scheduled for April 27 through May 9, 2009. The event, now in its sixth year, is a series of seven concerts staged primarily in private homes, and raises funds to support the students and programs at the Academy. Each evening two homes will be the setting for refreshments and live music provided by Academy students and faculty. The fundraiser culminates on Saturday, May 9, with a concert at the Academy's new downtown home, as well as a tour of the building. Refreshments will be offered in the Academy’s third floor atrium. The programs are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Patron tickets for the entire event (all seven evenings) may be purchased at $200 per person. There is also a three-admission series ticket available at $125, and single evening tickets can be purchased for $50 per person. To reserve tickets, please contact Marilyn Davidson at 898-8676.
